Oh, the angst....still heartbreaking. I think it's interesting that someone mentioned whether or not Kris and Brian had an abusive relationship before the deployment or Adam came along. In this chapter, I wondered why Adam's internal thoughts/feelings were like he had to walk on eggshells around Kris; like Kris is so weak or fragile? I also wanted to shake Adam and get him to just hug Kris, at least!

At the same time, I appreciate your writing style-even if I want Kris & Adam to be together! You aren't making this fic the predictable Kradam story where they suddenly snap out of it and make up & make out! You write about relationship situations in a way that they often happen in real life-not perfect and fast!

It seems like Adam & Kris are cautious but coming around even more now, at least talking...I am SO looking forward to chapter 4 and their sort-of Tuesday "date"!
